A project made during the Global Game Jam 2024.

Theme of the year : Make me laugh

You are a thrill-seeking night explorer, exploring an abandoned circus wich is reputed to be cursed. Unfortunately for you, the rumors are true. A clown haunts the place and locks you in his tent. There is only one thing he asks you : To make him laugh. If you fail, he kills you.

Make Him Laugh is a first-person horror game, setting you into a creepy and oppressive atmosphere. Graphically, the game is semi-realistic and stylized, with dirty textures to create an abandoned environment.

In order to satisfy the clown, you have a multitude of objects located in two rooms. The clown tells you the theme of what amuses him. It is up to you to understand which objects correspond to this theme, and give them to him in the given time. The more you fail to satisfy him, the more the clown is likely to kill you. And while the time is running, the clown become more and more inflexible.

Are you brave enough to take on the clown challenge? Then make him laugh!
